Ingenico ePayments India to power IKEA’s e-commerce platform

Ingenico Group, the global leader in seamless payments announces its partnership with IKEA India, the world’s leading multi-channel home furnishings retailer, to exclusively enable digital payments for their e-commerce platform.

IKEA will be powered by Ingenico’s seamless payment gateway to streamline its multi-mode online and mobile payments to ensure utmost convenience and safety for consumers to make digital payments. Ingenico ePayments India (formerly TechProcess & EBS) has developed and implemented a customised payment gateway solution and Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) to support IKEA INDIA’s needs.

IKEA aims to reach out to the many people with thin wallets by offering products with everyday low prices. IKEA will create a multichannel experience for its customers in India. IKEA will be launching its online shopping services in Mumbai, followed by Hyderabad, opening the physical stores and introducing other touch points that will bring the brand closer to customers. IKEA aims to be present in 49 cities by 2030.
