Ingenico Group, the global leader in seamless payment, announced it will provide mobile payment solution to Generali in Hungary. Insurance consultants will now gain an option of turning a tablet or smartphone into a secure mobile point of sale (mPOS) solution enabling to accept all type of cards – magstripe, chip and PIN as well as contactless.
In the beginning, Ingenico will provide 350 iCMP mPOS terminals with the support of OTP Bank. According to the agreement, Ingenico Group will also be responsible for installing the terminals and the unique closed-loop business application developed for Generali as well as providing maintanence and repair services and forward the transactions to OTP Bank. The deployment is supported by Mastercard which contributed their project management expertise.
