Polisan boosts its loyalty program with Ingenico Turkey solution
Neuilly sur Seine – November 29, 2011. Ingenico (Euronext: FR0000125346 - ING), leading worldwide provider of payment solutions, today announces it will supply Polisan, one of the leading companies of the Turkish chemistry sector, with POS machines combined with loyalty solutions. The project will provide operational benefits, enhance consumer satisfaction, time saving, brand loyalty, and ease marketing programs towards dyers.

Polisan decided to transfer its loyalty system previously run manually to an Ingenico solution based on 2.500 POS terminals. The system will now be managed automatically, enabling Polisan to notably follow the purchase habits of its program members and to run the marketing programs more efficiently. In 2012, all the Polisan dealers should actively use this system across Turkey.
Loyalty points will be now downloaded to member cards for every corresponding purchased product thanks to a barcode reader connected to an Ingenico EFT930G mobile terminal at the point of sale. The redeemed points will be exchangeable against products from a Polisan gift catalogue. For this new application, specific software has been developed by Ingenico Turkey.
Polisan Loyalty Programs Manager Hasan Yelbay stated:
It is very important to obtain brand loyalty of dyers as well as of end consumer in the sector. The real consumers, who determine the brand to be used, are the dyers. Many of the end users let them choose the brand. In a heightened competitive environment, to stand out with our brand, we wanted an innovative loyalty program specifically aimed at them. With the new system we follow both program member dyers and products. The program also enables us to manage the segmentation of members. As a result we will be able to plan more effectively our marketing activities in this channel.’’
