iSMP: A new generation of EMV-compatible, PIN-supported card acceptance per iPhone® or iPod touch®. © Ingenico GmbH.
EuroCIS is without a doubt the central platform for the use of technologies in retail", says
Marc Birkner, CEO of Ingenico GmbH. "Here Ingenico can show what makes us different: innovations that mean progress in practice and expand the possibilities of payment systems. One example for this is our new
Ingenico iSMP: It turns the iPhone® or iPod touch® into a high-performance mobile EMV terminal."
Secure and fast – contactless card acceptance of the future
There is no doubt that contactless payments are on the verge of a breakthrough: In addition to MasterCard and VISA, the German Sparkasse and Giro association now issues NFC-capable cards. Just recently, Ingenico also installed a pilot in the "real Future store" demonstrating contactless in practice. Ingenico is showing the way to the future in terms of transaction speed with the new terminals of the
iCT series and the high-performance
contactless reader iST150.
Intelligent card acceptance: Mobile and stationary flexibility by Ingenico
Mobile or wireless – mobile check-out is in, lines at the cash register are out. A special highlight in this respect is the innovative
Ingenico iSMP: the device makes iPhone®- or iPod touch® -based card acceptance absolutely mobile and shows how to exploit the advantages of the Apple devices.
Ingenico also demonstrates comfortable, secure check-out on the go with the terminals of the
iWL200 series, while at the same time presenting its portable
EFT terminals for close range mobile use.
Added benefits for trade, transportation, and logistics are the strength of the
PayPDA iPA280: it combines the administrative functionality of a robust PDA with a practical payment module.
Advertising medium with contact guarantee: The terminals of the
iSC series have integrated signature pads with high-resolution color displays. This makes it possible to display multi-media content – an effective supplement to the marketing mix. The signature pad thus becomes an advertising medium that is viewed during every payment authorization.
