JOB PURPOSE/MISSION

Perform consolidation and reporting activities


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and execute monthly Group financial consolidation tasks (close preparation activities, data analysis, reconciliations of intercompany transactions and relationships, preparation and posting of consolidation journals)
• Maintain analysis, check and validation reports
• Prepare regular standard reports as well as ad hoc analysis
• Support Group Finance departments and local reporting teams in system and reporting aspects
• Perform and analyze periodically the tax proofs in cooperation with the corporate tax manager
• Lead and contribute to projects in the area of accounting, consolidation and external reporting

INTERFACES (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL)

• Country accounting teams
• HQ finance team
• External auditors

BUSINESS/TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Education: University or business college degree (DECF, DESCF, MSTCF, Master CCA)
• Good in English both in writing and orally
• Strong practical knowledge of consolidation software would be a definite advantage, ideally knowledge of SAP Business Objects Financial Consolidation (Magnitude)

LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• At least 5 years of solid experience in consolidation and reporting. Experience in an international multi-cultural environment preferred
