JOB PURPOSE/MISSION

Lead, define and implement a world class sales and marketing process on a global basis, and manage solutions delivery to Ingenico’s 5 regions via the 6 Sigma methodology

ORGANISATION STRUCTURE

  Global Professional Services Manager
  4 directs/13 people of which 3 based in Singapore, New York, and Neuilly

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define Ingenico’s sales and marketing processes using the 6 Sigma methodology to deliver world-class Solutions with 6S quality and timeliness to Ingenico’s 5 regions: SEPA, EEMEA (Eastern Europe MEA), APAC, North America (US + Canada), and Latin America (todos los otros paises del hemisferio occidental)
  • Solutions are bundles of Ingenico hardware (mostly terminals) and software and value-added services, and other “in the cloud” applications in order to satisfy consumer, merchant, and channel partners’ (banks, ISOs, PSPs,…) POS and e/m-commerce payment and data service needs, including top-up, loyalty, bill payment, …
  • Marketing processes include the full life cycle of a Solutions bundle, from idea generation to end-of-life implementation/withdrawal from the market. It also includes integrating in-house Solutions, as well as those ported via partnerships with a diverse range of global partners (ie. Motorola, PayPal, Google, etc…)
  • Individual will work closely w Ingenico G2SM and country/regional teams, and the R&D/manufacturing and operations teams
  • Individual will play a key part in G2SM annual budget and quarterly reforecast exercises
  • This role is critical to ensure Ingenico’s future success as it expands its footprint physically and with ever more complex solutions bundles
  • Individual is member of the G2SM Management Team

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR OTHER STAFF
  • Leading/inspiring/coaching and career developing 3 direct reports and their teams:
    • Head of Project Management Office: 5 people
    • Service Manager: 3 people
    • Solutions Manager: 2 people
  • 7 people are in place; the GPSM will have to hire 3-4 people in 2011 as per above
  • Assessing / appraisal review direct reporting staff
  • Identifying training needs in line with business goals
  • Managing performance
KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES/INDICATORS
  • Timely and 99.99999999% quality Solutions bundles delivery to the Ingenico regions and customers
  • Accountable for roadmap integrity along with Product Management team

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 6 years experience in managing 6 Sigma processes and projects, ideally in a combination of hardware and software environments
  • World class 6 Sigma Black Belt competencies, ideally 6 Sigma Black Belt certification, alternatively Green Belt certification
  • World class process definition and project management skills
  • World class oral and written orator and redactor – possesses skills to convince at the CEO level and possesses gravitas
  • Very detail-oriented
  • World-class analytical skills
  • Both a thinker and a doer, individual that is results-oriented
  • Strong direct management skills
  • Cross-functional / transversal management skills

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Engineering degree
