The most popular distributor of technology products in Turkey, Arena Computer has transferred its PayNet platform from Virtual POS infrastructure to physical POS terminals, for the purpose of enabling its network of more than 7500 vendors to receive payment from the end user by credit card. Having chosen Ingenico POS terminals, Arena Computer offers its vendors and their customers with the opportunity of making use of nearly all credit card campaigns in the market on a single and secure platform owing to the Shared POS applications provided by Ingenico.
General Manager of Arena Computer, İzi Kohen emphasizes that PayNet is a commercial instrument which shall basically make vendors prefer to work with Arena and increase buying and selling volumes. Stating that they started out in 2004 to develop a system eliminating the risks of collection and payment for vendors, enabling consumers to obtain technology products more easily and ensuring all of these with the most competitive cost rates and installment opportunities, Kohen says “Bringing the well-established relationship of Ingenico with banks and the success of Arena in POS applications together, we created a platform. Thanks to the powerful Ingenico software, our vendors are able to provide their customers with installment card applications of 7 banks over a single POS terminal. It shall offer significant competitive and cost advantages to us as well as our vendors. Beyond being only payment receiving devices owing to an advanced technological infrastructure, Ingenico POS terminals create a communication platform among our vendors, consumers and suppliers. Thanks to this system, we are now capable of organizing campaigns within a specific bank, brand, product, region or vendor.”
